Safety Compliance Supervisor - Temp

JOB SUMMARY

A temporary position lasting 5-8 months.

About the role

Maintains EHS programs and initiatives to comply with regulatory requirements and client needs. Maintains certifications and implements health and safety programs. Coordinates emergency response teams and assists with pandemic response. Provides support for events and manages a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage EHS programs and initiatives
• Maintain ISO, OSHA equivalent, or ICS certification
• Implement health and safety programs
• Manage Emergency Response Team (ERT)
• Respond to additional requests from onsite management
• Conduct regular audits and inspections
• Communicate with EHS stakeholders and management
• Support global and regional projects
• Provide health and safety support for events
• Directly manage team members
• Indirectly manage safety and security officers
• Collaborate with Security and Workplace

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Reliable means of communication and transportation
• Legal right to work in the US
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Pre-employment screening process participation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
• Direct experience with regulatory agencies and compliance officers
• ISO 45001 management standard experience
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
