Safety Compliance Administrator

Position Summary

The Safety Compliance Administrator will provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of the position, including the administration of the DOT program, Drug Testing Program, Safety Incentive Program (SIP), and various Insurance programs under the direction of the Safety Manager. This includes accurate data entry into COINS, managing and scheduling random drug tests, processing annual motor vehicle record check documents, and assisting with incident reporting and communication through Safety Alerts, Safety Communications, Safety Standouts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry into COINS
• Managing and scheduling random drug tests
• Processing annual motor vehicle record check documents
• Assisting with incident reporting and communication
• Delivering clear and concise communication to the organization
• Assisting with the reporting of all incidents
• Assisting with the Safety organization in supporting a fast-paced, customer-focused department
• Supporting the Safety organization in supplying a full range of Safety services
• Administering various Insurance programs
• Supporting the Safety organization in providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years' experience in highly responsible administrative position or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Word and Excel
• Highly developed organizational skills
• Sound arithmetic, reasoning, and accurate data entry required
• Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Commitment to safety to support the organizations efforts

• Must possess an attitude that is truly committed to employee safety and all that it takes to support the organizations efforts
• Must have highly developed organizational skills, communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a commitment to safety
• Must be highly organized, able to work with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, and able to interact with highly technical staff and management
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of daily transactions
• Must be able to re-evaluate priorities while maintaining confidentiality, exercising discretion, diplomacy, and good judgment
• Must have the ability to generate alternative solutions when faced with a problem, evaluate the consequences of choosing each alternative, and select the most promising alternative
• Must have OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or be able to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License
