The Assistant Manager, Safety, leads safety teams to innovate, design, and improve systems, processes, equipment, and tools, ensuring safety compliance aligns with operations, new models, and business goals. Working conditions include open and manufacturing environments, with potential for overtime, varying shifts, minimal travel, and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant safety initiatives and complex improvement projects.
• Supervise and mentor safety professionals, fostering technical expertise.
• Apply safety standards proactively to reduce hazards and injuries via PDCA cycles.
• Interpret and implement safety policies, participating in continuous policy improvement.
• Conduct and document risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and safety innovations.
• Present safety data and analyze trends to inform decision-making.
• Enhance personal professional skills and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field;
• 8+ years safety or manufacturing experience.
• Professional safety certifications preferred.

• Deep understanding of safety regulations, injury prevention, and data analysis.
