About the role
The Safety and Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing all safety protocols and risk management strategies within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Train employees on safety procedures and best practices
- Manage incident reporting and investigation processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
