Safety and Occupational Health Specialist

The Safety and Occupational Health Specialist supports a national safety program by providing expert guidance, policy interpretation, and oversight in occupational safety, compliance, and risk management. Key duties include conducting inspections, investigations, and risk assessments; developing corrective action plans; reviewing project plans for safety compliance; and delivering safety policies, training, and guidance. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in safety or related fields, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of OSH laws, hazard detection, and safety systems. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential. This role involves representing the organization to stakeholders, maintaining safety records, and supporting continuous safety improvements.
