Position Description You will serve as the Safety and Occupational Health Specialist in the Quality and Compliance Department, Safety and Occupational Health Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will coordinate all SMS activity including identification, tracking and implementation of objectives and targets among the various FRCSW Safe sites.You will plan, schedule, manage and execute external registration audits, contractor supported audits and internal audits necessary to achieve and maintain conformance to the OHSAS standard.You will provide training to all levels of management, staff and auditors including military.You will demonstrate proper industrial work process and procedures.You will evaluate novel and complex hard situations.You will understand job hazards to report mishaps.
