Safety and Human Resources Manager

Nielsen's Arc Service is seeking an experienced Safety and Human Resources Manager for a part-time position in Redmond, Utah.

About the role

This position will oversee company Human Resources, workplace safety, employee training, fleet safety, DOT compliance, business insurance documentation, and customer contractor-compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees
• Maintain personnel files and HR documentation
• Employee relations and disciplinary documentation
• Maintain employee handbook and company policies
• Manage PTO tracking
• OSHA compliance and recordkeeping
• MSHA compliance and recordkeeping
• Schedule and track MSHA training
• Maintain employee safety training records
• Safety meetings and incident investigations
• Maintain company safety programs
• Avetta and ISNetworld administration
• Customer safety and prequalification requirements
• JJ Keller fleet administration
• Driver Qualification Files and MVR tracking
• DOT physical and CDL documentation
• USDOT and MC-150 compliance
• IRP fleet registration
• Truck and DOT inspection tracking
• Track company vehicle locations and assigned drivers
• Fleet accident documentation
• General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Workers' Compensation administration
• Certificates of Insurance
• WCF and General Liability incident reporting
• Insurance and customer compliance documentation

Requirements

• Previous Human Resources experience required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to maintain confidential employee information
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications

Previous experience with OSHA, MSHA, DOT/fleet safety, Avetta, ISNetworld, or JJ Keller is preferred. Industrial, mining, construction, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment experience is also preferred.

Schedule

25–30 hours per week
