Safety and Environmental Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the implementation/sustainability of the Consolidated Management System, with emphasis on the Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Oversee and ensure Regulatory Compliance (OSHA, EPS, NFPA, etc.) as well as Coca-Cola Company requirements throughout the manufacturing site.
• Provide interpretation of applicable regulations and Coca-Cola requirements and their impact on the location operations to management.
• Lead and drive the accident review process to ensure follow up, preventive actions, and root cause analysis as part of the Continual Improvement Program (PHRED).
• Support and participate on the Site Incident Management & Crisis Team by being available at all times to conduct drills, respond to emergency situations 24/7, and to lead these emergency responses as applicable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Safety and Environmental in Plant Manufacturing
• Federal and State Regulatory Compliance, e.g., OSHA, EPS, NFPA, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years of Environmental Safety Manufacturing experience
