Position Responsibilities
- Perform random 360 safety management inspections of project sites
- 360 safety observation reporting
- Dedicated safety representative for various projects
- Participate in incident investigations
- Participate in OSHA inspections
- Facilitate and implement safety pre-planning activities for various projects
- Aid in the problem-solving process to address safety issues at the job site
- Attend safety training as provided by the employer
- Representative of the Meyer Najem safety program to prospective clients, customers, employees, and subcontractors
- Collaborative work environments
- Local/Regional Travel ~50%
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED required
- Five (5) years or more of construction safety experience
- Completion of OSHA 510 (30-Hour OSHA Construction Training)
- Completion of OSHA 500 preferred
- Technical understanding of the CFR 1926 and 1910 OSHA standard manuals
- Possess current/valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders without assistance
- Ability to walk for long periods of time unaided
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds without assistance
- Work in various weather conditions and construction environments
