About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst Access Controls & Identity to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.

Location & compensation

New York City, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $285,000 – $330,000 annually.

Responsibilities

Set collection policy for identity signals and evidence requirements
Improve verification program health and consistency
Own access policy for complex cases
Manage operational queue for access-control alongside contractors
Collaborate with Legal, Public Policy, and Privacy stakeholders
Align enforcement consistency with third-party partners
Stay informed on AI policy enforcement best practices
Implement graduated enforcement practices and compliance pathways

Qualifications

Experience in trust & safety, integrity, or risk policy work
Hands-on operational experience in enforcement queues
Subject matter expertise in KYC, identity verification, or assurance
Navigated evolving regulatory landscapes like DSA and GDPR
Experience driving initiatives with cross-functional teams
Comfort using data tools like SQL for measurement
Strong written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent judgment in making decisions on ambiguous cases
