Saddle Expert / Sales Representative - Colorado (Devoucoux)

About the role

Devoucoux has promoted the horse-rider partnership since 1985. Our saddles and accessories, crafted in Pays Basque, involve six specialized trades—cutting, preparing, assembling, and stitching—to achieve elegance and comfort. We embrace innovation, integrating technology with craftsmanship to ensure our products, like D3D panels and vegetal leather, remain top-tier. As an Equine Outside Sales Representative, you’ll cover the territory of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico, focusing on regions with strong equine potential and horse-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a saddle fitting specialist and technical advisor within your territory
• Develop and manage your customer base independently (Amateurs, Trainers, Pro-Riders, Barns)
• Represent Devoucoux at horse shows
• Create a unique client experience through your knowledge and best-in-class customer service

Requirements

• Prior successful field sales experience is a plus; additional sales training will be provided
• Clean driving record and readiness to travel extensively
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills; independent and dynamic personality
• Passionate rider with an understanding of the English riding industry and horse shows

Pay

Potential earnings including base salary and commissions:

• Year 1: Up to $55,000
• Year 2: $65,000–$85,000
• Year 3: $75,000–$125,000
