Responsibilities

• Ensuring customs compliance and economically efficient, smooth and legally compliant processes in the supply chain
• Internal point of contact and advisory for customs and foreign trade law, customs tariff classification, preference and origin law, and export control law
• Interface management of customs processes with internal process participants
• Monitoring, adapting and expanding existing customs approvals (ZA, EA, REX, ZE, AEO) and their internal company processes
• Expert communication with external partners and authorities (customs, HZA, chambers of commerce, veterinary offices, embassies, etc.)
• Monitoring of preference calculations

Requirements

• Completed commercial degree or vocational training or comparable qualification
• Good SAP knowledge in modules SD, LE, MM as well as GTS
• Experience in customs is an advantage
• Knowledge of customs and foreign trade law desirable
• Strong affinity for digital processes
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Diplomatic, dynamic and systematic working style with the ability to prioritise tasks reliably
