About the role
The Wasserverband "Südharz" is a public-law corporation based in Sangerhausen, supplying drinking water to around 53,000 citizens and responsible for wastewater disposal. This full-time position (39 hours per week) is permanent and remunerated under the TVöD-VKA collective agreement.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, recording and documentation of test results in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance
- Carrying out drinking water sampling and on-site analyses
- Performing analyses in the association's drinking water laboratory
- Processing hygienic complaints and participating in measures according to the Drinking Water Ordinance
- Communication with external laboratory facilities and the health authority
- Creation and continuous adaptation of annual sampling plans in close coordination with the health authority
- Updating the drinking water action plan according to the Drinking Water Ordinance
- Independent maintenance of the digital water management application
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as a specialist for water supply technology, environmental technologist for water supply, or as a specialist for hygiene monitoring, or a qualification that is conducive to the activity
- Initial professional experience in the field of work
- Very good MS Office skills
- Independent, reliable and structured working style with a pronounced sense of responsibility, discretion and reliability
- Class B driving licence
Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience with a drinking water supplier
- Accreditation as a drinking water sampler according to the Drinking Water Ordinance
- Experience with the digital water management application Octoware TN
