About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe appropriate lenses and eyewear. - Perform routine eye care services such as refractions, dilated eye exams, and contact lens fittings. - Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Collaborate with the Subleasing doctor to provide a seamless patient experience. - Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA or COAMFTE-accredited school. - Current Florida Optometry license. - At least 2 years of recent clinical experience. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of optometric practices and procedures. - Proficiency in using digital eye examination technology. - Experience with patient management software. - Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
