About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses. - Perform routine eye care services such as refractions, dilated eye exams, and contact lens fittings. - Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Collaborate with the Subleasing doctor to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction. - Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

- Current Florida State License as an Independent Doctor of Optometry. - Completion of an accredited optometry program. - At least two years of clinical experience preferred. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field. - Strong knowledge of ocular health and vision correction techniques. - Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
