Position Overview

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As a private Independent practice, Luxottica operates the optical dispensary while the Affiliated Doctor operates the Doctors office and provides high quality optometric care and service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
• Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours directly with the Subleasing doctor.
• Care for patients with professional autonomy and full scope of practice based on professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Utilize a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment, including the latest digital eye examination technology called Clarifye.
• Offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule.
• Participate in a fully equipped office with advanced technology such as the Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System and automated online appointment booking and patient recall systems.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a valid State License to practice Optometry. They should have a strong background in optometry and be able to provide comprehensive eye care services. Experience working in an independent practice setting is preferred.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
