About the role
Responsible for operating paving machinery to lay concrete pavement. Must have strong physical stamina and follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate paving machinery safely and efficiently
- Lay concrete pavement according to specifications
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related work experience in construction or similar field
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Qualifications
- Knowledge of concrete paving techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in using paving machinery
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills
