S.T.E.M. Facilitator

About the role

Bring S.T.E.M., computer science and robotics to life for individuals in active and relevant ways through an immersive, project-based, integrated series. Provide a comprehensive transfer of knowledge in block-based and text based coding. Encourage building, planning, iteration, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on learning experiences that integrate S.T.E.M. concepts with practical applications.
• Facilitate projects that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among participants.
• Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs and skill levels of participants.
• Collaborate with other educators and program staff to enhance curriculum and activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience teaching S.T.E.M. concepts to diverse groups of learners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for S.T.E.M. and a commitment to its integration into education.
• Experience with block-based and text-based coding languages.
• Knowledge of robotics and programming concepts.
