About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including private, instrument, commercial, sport, and multi-engine ratings. Offer ground school and flight instruction services.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of flying, including takeoffs, landings, and maneuvers.
- Prepare students for FAA exams and certifications, such as Private Pilot (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot (CPL).
- Offer ground school courses to prepare students for theoretical knowledge required for various pilot certificates.
- Ensure safety and proficiency in all training sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Requirements
- A valid pilot's license and current medical certificate.
- Experience in teaching aviation subjects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
- Passion for aviation and commitment to continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
