About the role

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and motivate others to follow work instructions.
  • Complete equipment calibration and setup; promptly communicate any maintenance issues to Supervisor.
  • Proactively identify quality, process, and workflow problems; inform Supervisor of any outstanding or recurring issues.
  • Participate in the training of Associates; mentor new hires and cross-train associates as necessary.
  • Actively communicate and share information and expectations with Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups, offering input on facility issues.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude; treat all associates with respect and dignity. Report any issues or concerns to Supervisor.
  • Actively support management decisions and communicate concerns when appropriate; assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in executing their duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area; notify Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
  • Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements and provide immediate feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritize, maintain organization, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
