RWS Global | LEGOLAND® Florida Character Performer

About the role

RWS Global is a full-service, worldwide production company specializing in custom-designed and pre-packaged events and live shows for corporations, theme parks, cruise ships, resorts, and the fashion industry. We are seeking high-energy Costume Character Performers at LEGOLAND® Florida in Winter Haven, Florida for the Daily Park Opening Moment, Character Meet & Greets, and Hotel Events. This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a costumed character in a full-body costume (e.g., mascot).
• Serve as a character sidekick when needed, including:
  • Assisting during character meet-and-greets.
  • Voicing the character.
  • Engaging with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience.
• Perform in various indoor and outdoor climates while wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time.
• Support family-focused programming in the hotel setting, such as:
  • Character meet-and-greets.
  • Hosting games for families.
  • Leading dance parties.
  • Reading from a book during scheduled Storytime experiences.
• Speak with guests, facilitate activities, and maintain high energy while interacting with children and families.

Requirements

• Must be between 5'1" and 5'5" to fit full-body costumes.
• Must be local to Winter Haven, Florida or the surrounding area.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Comfortable performing in enclosed character costumes.
• All gender identities are welcome.

Pay

$15.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time role with approximately 6-8 hours per shift between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
• Typically 2-3 days per week.
• Must have at least 2 days of availability per week, with at least 1 day being a weekend day.
