About the role
We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND® Florida in Winter Haven, Florida, for the Daily Park Opening Moment, Character Meet & Greets, and Hotel Events. Performers will bring costume characters to life in both the theme park and hotel locations, serving as costumed characters or character sidekicks as needed. This role requires comfort performing in enclosed, full-body costumes for up to 30 minutes at a time in various indoor and outdoor climates.
Responsibilities
- Perform as a costumed character in a full-body mascot-style costume.
- Serve as a character sidekick, assisting during meet-and-greets, voicing the character, and engaging with guests to create interactive experiences.
- Support family-focused programming in the hotel, including character meet-and-greets, hosting games, leading dance parties, and reading during Storytime.
- Speak with guests, facilitate activities, and maintain high energy while interacting with children and families.
Requirements
- Must be between 5'1" and 5'5" to fit full-body costumes with the head fully covered.
- Must be local to Winter Haven, Florida, or the surrounding area with reliable transportation.
- Must have weekend availability and at least 2 days of availability per week, including at least 1 weekend day.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay
$15.50 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time role with approximately 6-8 hours per shift between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
- Typically 2-3 days per week.
