RWS Global is a full-service, worldwide production company that provides custom-designed and pre-packaged events and live shows for corporations, theme parks, cruise ships, resorts, and the fashion industry. Established in 2003, we are seeking high-energy performers to bring Costume Characters to life at LEGOLAND® Florida in Winter Haven, Florida.
About the role
Perform as a Costume Character in full-body costumes (e.g., mascots) and serve as a character sidekick when needed. Sidekick duties include assisting during meet-and-greets, voicing the character, and engaging with guests to create interactive experiences. Performers will work in various indoor and outdoor climates, wearing full costumes for up to 30 minutes at a time. In the hotel setting, support family-focused programming such as character meet-and-greets, hosting games, leading dance parties, and reading during Storytime.
Responsibilities
- Perform as a costumed character in a full-body costume (head fully covered).
- Serve as a character sidekick, including voicing the character and assisting during meet-and-greets.
- Engage with guests, particularly children and families, to create welcoming and interactive experiences.
- Support family-focused programming in the hotel, including games, dance parties, and Storytime.
- Work in various indoor and outdoor climates while wearing a full costume for extended periods.
Requirements
- Must be between 5'1" and 5'5" to fit costume requirements.
- Must be local to Winter Haven, Florida, or the surrounding area.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have weekend availability (at least 1 weekend day per week).
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- All gender identities are welcome.
Pay
$15.50 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time role with approximately 6-8 hours per shift, between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
- Typically 2-3 days per week, with at least 2 days of availability required (including 1 weekend day).
