About the role

We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND® New York for the Daily Park Opening Show, Character Meet & Greets, Hotel Events. This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations. We are looking for high-energy performers to bring these Costume Characters to life!

Responsibilities

• Assisting during character meet-and-greets
• Being the voice for the character
• Engaging with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience
• Performing in various indoor and outdoor climates
• Wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time
• Supporting family-focused programming in the hotel setting
• Hosting games for families
• Leading dance parties
• Reading from a book during scheduled Storytime experiences

Requirements

• Must be between 5'2" and 5'4"
• This is a full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered
• Must be local to Goshen, New York or surrounding area
• Must have weekend availability
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
• All gender identities are welcome
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• This is a non-union job
