RWS Global | LEGOLAND® Character Performer
About the role
We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND® New York for the Daily Park Opening Show, Character Meet & Greets, Hotel Events. This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations. We are looking for high-energy performers to bring these Costume Characters to life!
Responsibilities
- Assist during character meet-and-greets
- Be the voice for the character
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience
- Work in various indoor and outdoor climates
- Comfortable wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time
- This role requires individuals who are comfortable performing in enclosed character costumes
- In the hotel setting, support family-focused programming such as character meet-and-greets, hosting games for families, leading dance parties, and reading from a book during scheduled Storytime experiences
- Comfortable speaking with guests, facilitating activities, and maintaining high energy while interacting with children and families
Requirements
- Must be between 5'2" and 5'4"
- This is a full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered
- Must be local to Goshen, New York or surrounding area
- Must have weekend availability
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- All gender identities are welcome
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- This is a non-union job
