About the role
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions, including degenerative disease, traumatic injuries, sports-related pathology, and complex reconstructive procedures.
- Diagnose, surgically and non-surgically manage, and provide perioperative care for patients.
- Ongoing follow-up and participation in clinical research and educational activities.
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy, pain management, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Upper Extremity, Hand & Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow, or related subspecialty preferred
- New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in upper extremity conditions
- Interest in clinical research and academic collaboration is a plus
Qualifications
- Completed medical school and residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completed fellowship in Upper Extremity, Hand & Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow, or related subspecialty
- New Jersey license or eligibility for licensure
