Duties
- Patient exam/evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review imaging/reports and tests)
- New patient and follow up visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests/labs
- Referral for care/therapy when medically necessary
- Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
- Patient education as to care plan/surgical options, therapies and modalities, and post care instructions
- Perform intra-articular steroid injections, arthroscopic repairs, and total joint replacement (with and without robot assistance if trained)
- Documentation and timely progress notes
- Collaboration with the multispecialty team for comprehensive patient care
- Patient follow up and reexams
Requirements
- BCBE General Orthopedic Surgeon
- MEDICAL LICENSE IN NJ
- Experience with arthroscopic repair of shoulders, hips, and knees - total joint replacement preferred
Compensation
Compensation (range): $400k-$500k annual base plus competitive bonus package (depending on experience/skill set)
