About the role

RWJBarnabas Health is expanding and seeks pediatric surgeons throughout New Jersey. The system is part of a partnership with Rutgers Health and is looking to grow its pediatric surgery team, which includes seven pediatric surgeons. The team works within the largest provider of pediatric healthcare in New Jersey, handling complex cases from a broad patient base.

Responsibilities

As a pediatric surgeon, you will be involved in performing a variety of pediatric surgical procedures, including lifesaving emergency surgeries and routine procedures. You will also contribute to the academic excellence of the program, engaging in resident and medical student education and clinical research.

Requirements

• Board certified, fellowship-trained pediatric surgeon (including experience in minimally invasive surgery)
• NJ license or eligibility for licensure
• Commitment to academic excellence, including interest or prior experience in resident and medical student education and clinical research
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong clinical background

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to academic excellence. They should be able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

Experience with minimally invasive surgery, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching and research are essential.

Pay
