About the role
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) New Brunswick is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Rounder to join their Hospitalist Division with Rutgers-Robin Wood Johnson Medical School, The State University of New Jersey.
Candidate Requirements

Opportunity Details
The opportunity includes managing admitted patients to the hospitalist medicine service in close collaboration with consultants and subspecialists who practice at RWJUH. The hospitalist works on a well-established, multidisciplinary team to partner with consultants and specialists to medically manage and coordinate inpatient care, assist with transitions of care back to the ambulatory setting, and work closely with the medical and surgical oncologic support staff, inclusive of advanced practice providers.
Summary
In this position, the hospitalist will support a team-based approach, communicate with case managers, social workers, bed managers, and others to ensure appropriate patient-centered transitions of care. Additionally, the hospitalist will work extensively with the case management, social work, bed management, and pharmacy teams to assist in patient and family communications and care planning. In addition to providing clinical care, the hospitalist will engage in clinical and research programs, faculty development, quality improvement activities, and participate in a broad range of teaching initiatives.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired is $180,000 to $380,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
