About the role

The practice is a long‑standing independent veterinary surgery located in Dorset, serving clients for over 50 years with a loyal and dedicated client base. It features dedicated consultation, diagnostic and surgical suites for different animals, a fully equipped on‑site lab, and holds regular clinical clubs where the team discusses cases and offers mutual support. The practice places a genuine emphasis on staff welfare, resulting in excellent staff retention for decades.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 15‑minute consultations.
• Provide support with biases, interests and overall professional development, including pursuit of certificates.
• Participate in regular clinical club discussions.
• Opportunity to pursue specialist areas of interest and develop your career, with potential to consider partnership in the future.
• Bring your dog to work.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).

Qualifications

• Valid RVN licence to practice in the UK.

Pay

£29,000 base salary with the opportunity to earn more.

Schedule

Full or part‑time hours available; very flexible rota to accommodate individual needs.
