RV/Trailer Technician

Responsibilities

• Locate and repair frayed wiring, broken connections, or incorrect wiring
• Repair plumbing and propane gas lines
• Examine and test operation of parts/systems to ensure completeness of repairs
• Inspect, repair, and replace brake systems
• Remove damaged exterior panels, repair, and replace structural frame members
• Refinish wood surfaces on cabinets, doors, moldings, and floors
• Performing preventative maintenance on RV and tractor trailers
• Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts including tires
• Ensure trailer meets the US Department of Transportation road safety requirements
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, and exceptional understanding of mechanical and technical information
• Able to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to multi-task and adapt easily to different types of tasks
• A strong attention for details
• A “team first” attitude and maintain our team atmosphere even in stressful situations
• Able to operate a forklift
• Must pass a drug screening
