RV Technician

About the role

This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and demonstrating recreational vehicles. It includes performing routine maintenance, testing RVs to ensure proper operation, and demonstrating RV features and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, interior carpentry, exteriors, etc., to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform routine maintenance
• Test drive RV’s to diagnose issues and ensure they are working properly
• Demonstrate use, function, and features of RV’s and how to perform basic maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• A minimum of one year of RV service experience (preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety manuals
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations
• Ability to tow RVs of various sizes as needed
• Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
