RV Technician

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Hourly) to join our growing team. Ideal candidates should have advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical repairs are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
• Achieve quality standards and have final work inspected by supervisor or designee
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

Requirements

• College or technical school certification in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required
• At least 1 year of service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness

Pay

The pay range for this role is $22.00 - $53.94 per hour. Camping World offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and more!

Schedule
