About the Role
The RV Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves working with various systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, and mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
- Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain and repair RV Coach and Chassis systems per manufacturer and dealership specs
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician or total home repair experience a plus but not required
- Self-motivated and able to take direction as needed
- Broad knowledge of RV technologies is a plus but not required
- General Maintenance Experience in Residential or Commercial Property Preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Able to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
