What You Will Do: The Core Mission
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues across all major RV systems using advanced diagnostic tools and technical schematics.
- Repair, install, and service both 12V DC and 120V AC electrical systems, including wiring, converters, inverters, solar panels, and generator units.
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on all water and waste systems, propane lines, furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation units.
- Repair chassis, hitches, braking systems, and perform cosmetic repairs, including fiberglass/bodywork, cabinetry, and interior modification.
- Troubleshoot and repair all major RV appliances, such as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, and entertainment systems.
- Clearly communicate repair needs, explain complex technical issues to customers, and provide expert maintenance advice to ensure an excellent service experience.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training in RV repair preferred.
- Proven technical experience in one or more relevant trades: auto mechanics, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- A valid Driver’s License and a clean, insurable driving record.
- 2+ years of direct experience as an RV Technician is highly preferred but not required.
- Current RV Technical Institute (RVTI) or RVDA/RVIA certifications are a plus.
- Experience with digital work order systems and diagnostic software preferred.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
