RV Technician
About the role
Capital RV is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, multi-tasking handy person to work in our service department. The ideal candidate should enjoy challenging duties and have an interest in advancing themselves through certification trainings.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, interior carpentry, exteriors etc. to ensure proper operating condition
- Perform routine maintenance
- Test drive RV's to diagnose to ensure that they are working properly
- Demonstrate use, function and features and how to perform basic maintenance of the RV
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Experience: A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred
- Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, read, analyze and interpret documents, work independently as well as on a team, use hand tools and power tools, wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations, tow RVs of various sizes as needed, organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending, stand for long periods of time, reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
