Russian Teacher

Job Summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate High School Russian Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in world language acquisition.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned Russian instruction for high school students
• Develop students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Incorporate cultural understanding to enhance language learning
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff
• Participate in professional development and school meetings

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Russian (K–12) or related certification
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience

Work Schedule

In-person position, Monday through Friday 8-hour shift
