About the role

Napa High School is offering a 1.0 FTE English 10 and AP English Language position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Teachers at Napa Valley Unified School District are expected to teach and follow our developed curriculum as well as incorporate all engagement strategies planned at the school.
  • Candidates should be familiar with technology and willing to incorporate technology as a daily teaching tool.
  • Candidates must be dedicated to growing professionally and collaborating with peers to establish a student-centered learning environment.
  • The District is committed to the goal of developing a workforce reflective of the community's demographic diversity.
  • Candidates must hold an English Learner Authorization (ELA) or be eligible for an Emergency ELA permit while working on earning an ELA.
