RTM Technician - Bucyrus, OH

About the Role

This position executes all aspects of the Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process, ensuring parts are produced to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in alignment with production schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain RTM machinery efficiently
• Ensure molds are clean, properly sealed, and prepared for resin injection
• Prepare and mix resins, catalyst, and pigments
• Cut mat material according to product specifications and daily demand
• Lay-up and build parts in compliance with resin transfer molding procedures
• Monitor and control the curing process, and safely remove cured composite parts from molds
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Safely operate tools and machinery to cut, trim, and drill fiberglass parts
• Perform minor repairs or rework on fiberglass panels
• Palletize finished product for shipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Other duties as assigned
