RT Technician - Level II - Corpus Christi, TX

We are seeking an experienced RT Technician – Level II for work in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Duties involve nondestructive examination (NDE) of materials per the referencing code, with primary responsibility for running an X‑ray crew performing conventional X‑ray inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive examination (NDE) of materials in accordance with the applicable reference code
• Run and supervise an X‑ray crew conducting conventional radiographic inspection
• Document inspection results and maintain required records
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedural requirements

Requirements

• Current Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) certification
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) Level II certifications preferred
• Documentation of NDE classroom training records, on‑the‑job training (OJT) hours, past certifications, and resume
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Must pass post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Compensation

Final agreed‑upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical requirements

• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, and structures above and below ground level
• Maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, and structures
• Reaching in all directions
• Handling and manipulating objects and materials
• Coordinating eye, hand, and finger movements to operate tools and equipment
• Lifting 30–50 pounds from ground, waist, and/or overhead level
• Carrying objects, tools, and equipment
• Standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting
• Seeing and hearing (with or without correction)
• Wearing respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Typing / data entry and stepstool use
• Working in excessive heat, excessive cold, and loud environments
