MISTRAS is hiring dedicated Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT Technicians local to Corpus Christi, TX.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate equipment
- Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s)
- Interpret, evaluate, and document results
- Direct the work of trainees and Level I technicians
- Apply knowledge of codes, standards, and contractual documents controlling the method
- Work with minimal supervision
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Obtain and analyze information
- Edit and present numerical data effectively
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC-1A for MT/PT/UTT
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year of experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC-1A
- Must provide the following documents:
- Proof of classroom hours/training in NDT
- Previous Level II certifications/OJT

Working Conditions
- Field duties require outdoor work in a plant environment
- Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, and client representatives
- Work in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise
- Must be physically fit and able to carry 50 lbs
- Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department
- May work at multiple jobsites in a day; must tolerate climate changes
- May be required to travel out of town periodically
