About The Job
The primary purpose of this position is to support pediatric diabetes clinical research according to regulatory requirements, institutional guidelines, and sponsor expectations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct participant assessments
- Administer investigational products and study-related procedures
- Coincide and collect research specimens
- Facilitate participant recruitment and enrollment
- Support study start-up activities
- Extract and report study data
- Respond to data queries
- Ensure protocol compliance throughout the conduct of clinical research studies
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Minnesota
- BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years
- Ability to work flexible work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed for events and site visits
- Detailed understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and federal regulations related to clinical research
- Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes
- Pediatric specific clinical/bedside experience
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize patient safety, adjust to change and escalate appropriately
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple software applications

Pay And Benefits
Pay Range: $34.82 - $41.53/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 80% Appointment
