RRT - NICU, Nights

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory care procedures
• Provides respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
• Maintains and manages respiratory care equipment
• Mentors and educates patients and families about their care

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Minimum Experience: Previous working experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
• Licensure/Certification: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
• Current Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Maintains all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas
