About the Role
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the successful applicant will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Rehabilitation program.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Perform I.V. starts and venipuncture.
- Demonstrate good stewardship in identifying, reporting, and mitigating unsafe acts or conditions (patient, worker, and workplace safety is a BCHS corporate priority).
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college nursing program.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in complex continuing care, geriatric nursing, or rehabilitation.

- Member of RPNAO (Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario).
- Ability to act as a coach, teacher, and mentor to colleagues and students.
- Demonstrated competence in patient assessment and care planning.
- Reliable individual with an excellent attendance record and ability to work all shifts.
