RPA and RPD Automation Architect

Location: Albany, NY (Onsite) – relocation assistance available for candidates in nearby states.

About the Role

12-year RPA/RPD Automation Architect contract role (24-month duration) with a premium client. Video interview; H1B, H4EAD, or USC preferred; GCEAD or GC also considered. Mandate: one-state project.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise automation solutions using RPA, RPD, or comparable technologies, including reusable workflows, components, and business processes.
• Analyze business processes and translate business, functional, data, and system requirements into enterprise automation designs and technical solutions.
• Integrate enterprise automation solutions with databases, APIs, web services, file-based interfaces, enterprise applications, and external systems.
• Design and implement automation controls: exception handling, validation, logging, monitoring, alerting, audit trails, recovery, reconciliation, and operational support.
• Develop and maintain data-processing solutions: ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, workflow orchestration, scheduling, and data-quality controls.
• Design and work with enterprise databases and data models: conceptual, logical, and physical models; transactional and analytical data structures; data warehouses.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, design reviews, and mentoring to cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, architects) implementing enterprise automation and system-integration solutions in large, complex organizations.
