PURPOSE OF POSITION
A Cook II is responsible for assisting the Sous Chef with preparation and presentation of daily menus, restocking, and serving selections at stations where lines develop during peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef
- Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished
- Ensure mise-en-place is in sufficient quantities for the day's requirements
- Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
- Completed daily inventories
- Assist servers during busy times
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience required
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry 25 - 50 lbs.
Pay
Pay: $22.50 per hour
