Royal Oaks Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living, a trusted provider of luxury apartment living in the greater Cleveland area, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. This vital role is crucial to maintaining high standards of property management, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained living environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on‑call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.
