Roving Maintenance Technician

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties across multiple properties in the Portland area. This role involves repairs, turnovers, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, pool maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians. Strong attention to detail, time management, and comfort with technology for work order management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential maintenance tasks including repairs and turnovers
• Handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work
• Maintain pools, landscaping, and janitorial duties
• Manage work orders using technology
• Respond to after-hours emergencies
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Adhere to Landlord, Tenant, and Fair Housing Laws

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties
• High school degree or equivalent
• Current valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
• Proficiency with power tools (skill saw, power drill, Sawzall reciprocating saw)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including cell phone use for calls, email, texting, and photographs
• Ability to work with a diverse population professionally and constructively
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail

$29–$35 per hour

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
