Router

The Router at Mattress Firm is responsible for scheduling deliveries, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

• Schedule deliveries according to capacity and business conditions.
• Record missed and/or re-delivery problems.
• Submit completed delivery manifests and stop records by deadline for contractor settlement purposes.
• Complete records for contractor settlement.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
• Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.

Essential Responsibilities

Non-Essential Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and accurately.
• Maintain accuracy of ticket management system.
• Print accurate pick lists.
• Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education & Professional Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of related experience is required.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to complete tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and POS system.
• Basic knowledge of city and outlying areas.

Compensation

• Competitive Pay rate of $22.00 per hour.
