Route Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support and promote our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, customers and community.
• Communicate effectively orally, written, phone and face to face.
• Load and unload truck, truck organization.
• Manage customer inventory.
• Pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes/quantities, availability, product application.
• Work order preparation and follow-up, invoice accuracy.
• Provide route relief to cover Customer Advocate vacations and call offs (flexibility).
• Provide additional route support as needed (Reroutes, additional volume etc…).
• Make special deliveries to customers.
• Lead generation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record.
• Must possess a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) medical certification or obtain one within a designated timeframe.
• This role occasionally requires covering delivery routes in the absence of regular drivers; therefore, candidates must meet DOT eligibility requirements and be comfortable operating company vehicles as needed.
• Able to lift 50 pounds plus and push and pull carts of linen.
• Must be computer literate.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Some delivery, logistics and/or route experience, One year experience with account management and ensuring customer satisfaction, Knowledge Practical insight specific to the textile services industry and operations.

Skills

• Excellent oral, written, phone and face to face communication skills.
• Ability to manage customer inventory.
• Basic product knowledge including pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes/quantities, availability, product application.
• Proficiency in paperwork work order preparation and follow-up, invoice accuracy.
• Flexibility to provide route relief and additional route support.
• Ability to make special deliveries to customers.
• Ability to lead generation.

Pay

$30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday - Friday - 6am start time.
